Dr. Naufel Alhassan

Chief Executive Officer & President

Dr. Naufel Alhassan is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer & President of Euphrates Consulting Group. His leadership is informed by extensive experience in government, economics, and international diplomacy.

He has served in many executive and advisory positions in the Iraqi government, including as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor for Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi. He played a prominent role in designing and implementing the government's economic reform agenda as head of the Economic Reform Unit (ERU) in partnership with the World Bank, IMF, EU, UNDP, USAID, and other G7 missions in Iraq.

He previously served as Iraq’s Commercial Consulate to the United States in Washington, D.C., and earlier in his career held technical and management positions in the U.S. semiconductor industry.

Dr. Alhassan holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Basra.
